The building is a physical manifestation of San Jacinto Community College’s commitment to the STEM fields – science, technology, engineering, and math. Science instruction and support labs include custom instructional labs and support/prep areas for biology, chemistry, geology, zoology and physics. Allied Health spaces include state-of-the-art instructional areas for emergency medical technology, health information technology, medical assisting, mental health, vocational and registered nursing, and pharmacy technology programs. The educational facilities are designed to emulate the actual environments students will face after graduation. The health science faculty utilizes the building to synthesize industry experience and innovative teaching strategies to prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.
